Ways to help

Every year we spend thousands of dollars in vet bills. This year will be no different as requests for help continue to come.

We rely entirely on private donations and all money raised goes towards the care of the cats. Volunteers receive no money for their efforts.

If you prefer to donate by sending us a cheque, you can do that too! Make the cheque payable to Georgina Feral Cat Committee and mail to: 30953 Hwy 48, Suite 112, Pefferlaw, ON L0G 1N0..

Want to join a group of animal lovers that take their volunteer role very seriously! We have a lot of fun at the same time. Fill out a volunteer application!

There are many opportunities within our organization to volunteer. Not only are we always looking for fosters, but we need volunteers to help coordinate events, run the events and do work on the back-end (looking and applying for grants, etc). And, we have partnered with PetSmart in Wast Gwillimbury and often need people to help clean and speak to potential adopters during store hours. All training is provided.  If you have time to volunteer, complete the volunteer application (linked above) and email it to us. 

Fostering is very rewarding and can be done from the comfort of your own home. We supply all the necessary items (litter, litter boxes, food, bowls, toys, scratch posts, etc) and you supply the home and lots of love. All our cats and kittens are fostered in private homes where they are socialized with other cats and dogs, children, etc. Open your heart and home today! 

We are always happy to accept donations of cat toys, towels, cat beds, carriers, clumping and non clumping cat litter, cat food (especially kitten food!). Please contact us if you have any items to donate.

We have many dedicated people within the community who enjoy hosting their own fundraisers where all proceeds collected are donated to GFCC. If you think you would like to do this, please reach out to us at georginacatcommittee@gmail.com.  We can help you with this process.
